While I am having a quiet lunch in the garden, I see my neighbors loading their cars in preparation for their vacation. A stroller for their 6 month old baby, a cozy, a carrycot, suitcases, a toy bag… F. my neighbor, wondering how to fit all this into the car! "Did you take the travel cot?" Asks his wife. Damn he had forgotten! I already feel the tension that will accompany them during their stay! Seeing him give up taking his bag of sports accessories, I remember how, a few years earlier, I managed to lighten my holidays with my babies thanks to babywearing . Like many young parents, I had bought a stroller, but in the end it did not serve me too much (ten times maximum) because the wrap offered at my request by beautiful mom - if that's not the class! - finally saved us. It was while on vacation at the sea that I particularly appreciated having "my precious" , because it greatly reduced the material that we brought with us. Easily replacing the stroller and other accessories, we gained freedom: freedom to go where we want and do what we want with baby.

• The beach!

Rolling in the sand with the baby-laden stroller + the beach gear… & Eacute; proof of torture or the equivalent of a Koh-Lanta ordeal. It's still easier to walk in the sand, baby in a sling or baby carrier, the parasol in one hand.

• Visits

Visiting a castle with the stroller? Of course ... they had everything planned for our ancestors ... Even if we will appreciate the freshness of a medieval house, we must recognize that the spiral staircases of the keep are not suitable for family visits. Finally, we find ourselves carrying the stroller (back pain guaranteed!) or carrying baby on your arm (carrying remains carrying but without in this case, we do not have the hands free!) With baby well installed in the baby carrier, we will climb the stairs like gazelles or like great sportsmen for you gentlemen… The thighs will heat up anyway!

• The local market

It may seem convenient, to leave baby in the stroller and stroll on the local market . But baby has another experience: seeing bags and legs, being pushed around unconsciously by the crowd… Would you love each other? It is true that this can have its advantages, but baby could be perched on mum or dad's back with an ideal view of the landscape and the entertainment. La Bise to all. Papa Chouch
