Skin-to-skin contact is recommended as early as the delivery room. It helps you during the first moments of breastfeeding and of building the attachment bond and helps baby maintain his body temperature. In the wrap, you can have discreet skin-to-skin contact even in public.
The heating is usually on high in hospitals and you and baby may sweat a lot, so don't be afraid to keep baby in a bodysuit to limit perspiration.
Skin-to-skin contact can make you hot!
