You must remove the flap in order to have the entire length of the scarf held by the rings.
It is not possible to remove the rings as the fabric is sewn all around. They do not need to be washed. (If you wish, you can put the scarf in a small canvas bag for extra protection when it goes through the washing machine).
For information, washing is done at 30°C, without spinning, and tumble drying is not recommended, we recommend drying flat.
