Bébé RGO : position anti reflux pour bébé

For babies with GERD, prone to gastroesophageal reflux and regurgitation, don't worry: your baby's digestive system is still immature, so it's temporary in most cases.

If in doubt, seek advice from your pediatrician, physiotherapist, osteopath, or any of your child's healthcare providers :)

Recommended positions to avoid reflux

Pediatricians recommend keeping the baby as upright as possible during the day to prevent regurgitation. Babywearing can be a great ally with an appropriate position.

The GERD that babies may suffer from is often relieved by the upright posture that babywearing offers. By promoting the vertical posture and allowing the baby to curl up well, babywearing can help limit acid reflux by reducing muscle tension in the front of the baby's body. It can also assist you in breastfeeding by allowing you to keep the baby upright during feeding ;)
