It is not possible to remove the rings because the fabric is sewn all around. They are not afraid of washing. (If you wish, you can put the wrap in a small cloth bag for additional protection during machine washing.
For information, washing is done at 30°C, without spinning and the dryer is not recommended, flat drying!
